Welcome to PS 9!

PS 9 is an open choice elementary school with a strong focus on the arts. The PTA at PS 9 is committed to encouraging parents to use their "VOICE" (Vision, Opportunity, Independence, Collaboration, Expression) to create meaningful opportunities for students, staff and families.
As a result, we provide a variety of school, community and family activities that not only engage children and families, but build a community as well.
We look forward to providing our families with many meaningful opportunities throughout the school-year.

PTA/SLT Elections

Willingness to Serve forms and documentation regarding PTA Executive Board and School Leadership Team (SLT) elections has been sent home.

Please view the information HERE if you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for one of these positions.

Elections will take place on Thursday, May 14th following the PTA General Membership meeting.

If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please complete the proper forms and send them back to the school in a sealed envelope marked PTA Nominating Committee.

*note- deadline for SLT elections is May 11, 2015. Deadline for PTA Executive Board positions is at the close of slate at the PTA general membership meeting on May 14, 2015.
