PS 9 is an open choice elementary school with a strong focus on the arts. The PTA at PS 9 is committed to encouraging parents to use their "VOICE" (Vision, Opportunity, Independence, Collaboration, Expression) to create meaningful opportunities for students, staff and families.
As a result, we provide a variety of school, community and family activities that not only engage children and families, but build a community as well.
We look forward to providing our families with many meaningful opportunities throughout the school-year.

Adult Night-Painting with a Twist




Painting With A Twist Registration is LIVE!
We are excited to offer our first Adult Night Out, for Families and Faculty, at Painting With a Twist on Friday, October 28th from 7:00 -9:00 pm. This Pinot's Pallette-type establishment is located at 2271 Hylan Blvd in New Dorp (close to Greeley Ave). Tickets are $35 a head; $17.50 of each ticket will be donated directly to PS 9.

Seats for this event are very limited and will fill up on a first-come/first-served basis directly through Painting with a Twist's website. We suggest that if you are coming with a group, you choose one person to register for your multiple seats. You will be prompted to enter in the names of people you would like to be seated with during the event.
