Welcome to PS 9!

PS 9 is an open choice elementary school with a strong focus on the arts. The PTA at PS 9 is committed to encouraging parents to use their "VOICE" (Vision, Opportunity, Independence, Collaboration, Expression) to create meaningful opportunities for students, staff and families.
As a result, we provide a variety of school, community and family activities that not only engage children and families, but build a community as well.
We look forward to providing our families with many meaningful opportunities throughout the school-year.

Supply Lists for 2015-2106

If you didn't get a chance to purchase a School Kidz supply kit, please use the links below to access the supply lists for each grade. 






The supply lists above also list the following personal items, which should be brought to school and are not included in the School Kidz supply kits:

 Pre-K- 

  • Smock or large t-shirt for art activities and projects
  • Change of clothes (including socks and sneakers) in a zip-lock bag labeled with your child's name and class
  • 1 blanket and 1 sheet for rest time in a sealable plastic bag (comforter bag) labeled with your child's name and class
  • 4 wallet sized photos of your child
  • Pair of socks to use as dry-erasers
  • Backpack


 Kindergarten-
