Welcome to PS 9!

PS 9 is an open choice elementary school with a strong focus on the arts. The PTA at PS 9 is committed to encouraging parents to use their "VOICE" (Vision, Opportunity, Independence, Collaboration, Expression) to create meaningful opportunities for students, staff and families.
As a result, we provide a variety of school, community and family activities that not only engage children and families, but build a community as well.
We look forward to providing our families with many meaningful opportunities throughout the school-year.

PS 9's Holiday Musical Performance

Join us on Thursday, December 18th for PS 9's first musical performance of the year!

At this performance, the PS 9 students will be singing some holiday favorites. Due to our limited seating capacity the show will be split by grade and held in the cafeteria.  All family members are invited to attend the show that represents their child's grade level. 

Please have your child dressed in their PS 9 PURPLE uniform shirt, and have them wear their favorite winter scarf. 

The performance schedule is as follows:

8:30-9:00   Kindergarten Performance
9:00-9:30   First Grade Performance
9:30-10:00 Pre-Kindergarten Performance

 PS- School art calendars will also be on sale at the Holiday Musical Performance.
